Legal framework of the CNL

The Algerian coast is governed by a strict legal framework that enshrines its non-buildable status and safeguards sensitive areas. This body of legislation is actively implemented by the National Coastal Commission (CNL), which works to reconcile economic and tourism development with the imperative of ecological preservation along this maritime coastline.
